Skyview to produce radio broadcasts, ancillary programming and highlights for all New Jersey Devils games from its Arizona-based headquarters

PHOENIX (PRWEB) October 17, 2018

National Hockey League’s (NHL) New Jersey Devils and Skyview Networks announced today the expanded scope of their partnership. Skyview Networks, a specialist in the play-by-play sports broadcast space, will continue to supply its AdView Inventory Management application, while adding full production services to the partnership. With Skyview Networks serving as the radio broadcast producer for all New Jersey Devils games during the 2018-19 season, it allows the franchise full control over the entire broadcast product. This follows the recent announcement that all of the New Jersey Devils regular season and post season games will be streamed exclusively via a new digital/radio station, Devils Hockey Network, available on Radio.com, NHL.com, newjerseydevils.com and their respective apps.

“Skyview has played an important role in helping us deliver a successful broadcast over the last three years, it was a natural decision to expand our partnership as we transition our audio broadcast exclusively on digital to Devils Hockey Network,” said Matt Loughlin, Radio Play by Play and Voice of the New Jersey Devils.

Skyview Networks’ production studios are based in Scottsdale, Arizona and provide remote production services for professional and collegiate sports properties, news networks and syndicators. With state-of-the-art studios and a dedicated producer for each client, all responsibilities and quality control of the broadcast are maintained by Skyview Networks to deliver a polished product.

“We are pleased to deepen our relationship with the Devils and their broadcast team. We have exceptional studios and producers out of our corporate office and feel the franchise will benefit by moving these responsibilities to our team,” said Matt Stys, Vice President, Business Development for Skyview Networks. “As rights deals and distribution channels change in the sports broadcast industry, I see this as a valuable service we can provide at the highest level.”

In adding Skyview Networks’ production service to the existing AdView system, the franchise will experience a further streamlined broadcast operation, lightening the load on the announcers.

*Parent company Hip Lik Packaging was founded in 1969 and has **grown into the global leader in printed plastic packaging*CHICAGO, Oct. 17, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Pack Expo -- HLP Klearfold, the North American visual packaging company that is always calling on brand owners to “Visualize,” has reason to create a compelling picture of a half-century of success. Its parent company, Hip Lik Packaging, is officially celebrating its 50^th anniversary.  Founded in Hong Kong in 1969, the company now serves the world from a very large production facility in Southern China, which has the capacity to manufacture 1 million printed plastic cartons per day.

According to Steve Frazier, HLP Klearfold’s U.S. President, “Hip Lik is a privately held, second generation, family-owned business, and since the beginning, the company has had a singular, unwavering focus… to be the world’s best producer of printed plastic packaging. And we are proud of the contribution that HLP Klearfold has made toward that goal.”

The company shipped their first orders to North America in 1995, and established a direct sales presence in 2003.  Rebranding as HLP Klearfold in 2010, it has since grown to become the largest seller of plastic folding cartons in North America.

As a global source, no other visual packaging producer has Hip Lik’s and HLP Klearfold’s combined experience or scale.  The company is the world’s largest plastic carton producer and serves four continents from its expansive, dedicated facility, which in 1996 became the first plastic carton production facility in China to be ISO:9001 certified. The company is also ISO:14001 (Standards for Environmental Management Systems), OHSAS: 18001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management System) and BRC and GMI certified, and a member of both Sedex^® and C-TPAT.

HLP Klearfold is especially proud of its advanced UV print reproduction, providing exceptional quality offset, silkscreen, and flexo printing for the highest fidelity printed graphics available on plastic folding cartons. To better manage quality and its material supply chain, the company produces most of its own box-grade substrates on its own custom extruders.

It is also the world leader in radio frequency (RF) scoring.  Its proprietary Soft Crease^® RF creasing technology ensures more uniform score lines with less folding resistance, so that Klearfold^® cartons fold precisely, have clean lines, and maintain their crisp shape.  Soft Crease scoring ensures efficient hand loading, and is the only, real choice for applications requiring automated filling.

Looking ahead to the next 50 years, HLP Klearfold is already exploring new innovations and market opportunities for plastic packaging.  Last month, the company commercialized the first of its kind, certified, child-resistant cannabis package. HLP Klearfold also recently conducted an eye-tracking and qualitative research program at the CUshop Retail Laboratory at Clemson University. The study’s participants expressed a strong belief that plastic cartons deliver higher value, higher product quality, and a more premium brand aesthetic than paperboard cartons. A white paper on the study will be available soon.

Telix Pharmaceuticals Limited (TLX-AU): Novartis Endocyte move highlights opportunity

*This research report is intended for use only by persons who qualify as professional investors or eligible counterparties (institutional investors) in the applicable jurisdiction, and not by any private individuals or other persons who qualify as retail clients.**Published to the market and investors on 18^th October 2018 @ 11.51am (London time).*

*Telix Pharmaceuticals Limited (TLX-AU): Novartis Endocyte move highlights opportunity*
*Recommendation: OUTPERFORM*
*Target Price: AUD $ 2.50*
*Current Price: AUD $ 0.860 (COB on 18^th October 2018) *

*KEY TAKEAWAY*

The proposed $2.1bn acquisition of Endocyte Inc. by Novartis AG highlights the substantial opportunity for Telix in radiopharmaceuticals and prostate cancer in particular. Just one of a portfolio of clinical stage radiotherapy and radiotherapy programmes, Telix's TLX-591 promises a superior second-generation product. With potentially better efficacy and tolerability compared to the Endocyte's lead product 177Lu-PSMA-617 currently in Phase III, the antibody-based TLX-591 has the potential for earlier and broader use in combination with existing androgen-depletion therapy ("ADT"), as well as the basis for more potent alpha-emitting radiopharmaceuticals. With the likes of Novartis / Endocyte blazing the trail, Telix looks well placed to take a substantial share of the growing radiopharmaceutical market. Given the $2.1bn offer for Endocyte, Telix looks dramatically undervalued. We maintain and reiterate both our OUTPERFORM recommendation and target price of AUD 2.5 per share.

Improved efficacy - With optimised fractionated dosing shown to reduce previous dose-limiting blood toxicities, unpublished cross-trial comparison data indicates that the Telix 591 177Lu-PSMA-antibody may provide a forty month mean overall survival compared to the 13.5 months reported for Endocyte's 177Lu-PSMA-617.

Reduced long-term side effects - Heavily expressed on the prostate cancer cells the therapeutic target PSMA is also present in salivary and lacrimal glands, which can suffer long-term damage from radiation exposure. In contrast, to smaller peptides like Endocyte's 177Lu-PSMA-617, larger antibody-based radiopharmaceuticals are excluded from these glands. This largely restricts radioactive exposure to cancer cells reducing the substantial impact of dry mouth and eyes, as well as making the antibody format more suitable for next more potent next generation alpha-particle-based radiopharmaceuticals.

Opportunity for earlier combination therapies - With 177Lu-PSMA-617 currently targeted at end-stage salvage therapy, reduction in debilitating damage to saliva and tear production with TLX-591 should facilitate earlier use. ADT has already been shown to boost cancer PSMA levels, indicating potential synergy for TlX-591 with drugs such as Johnson and Johnson's abiraterone, potentially limiting the duration of chemical castration.

Therapeutic supported imaging diagnostic - With the Telix prostate cancer radio-imaging diagnostic illumet (68Ga PSMA-11) already used as a companion diagnostic in the Endocyte Phase III trial, Telix has recently secured distribution deal with the major healthcare service provider Cardinal Health that should provide the basis for broader use of the diagnostic in prostate cancer diagnosis and monitoring, as well as a significant driver for the use of its radiotherapy.

Just one part of the portfolio - With ongoing late stage clinical programmes progressing in renal cancer imaging and therapy as well as glioblastoma, Telix's prostate cancer programme forms just one part of a diversified and significantly de-risked product pipeline.

Substantially undervalued - Telix looks substantially undervalued on the basis of the $2.1bn Endocyte offer. Our DCF analysis indicates that the current market valuation is largely justified on the basis of the imaging programmes alone and ascribes modest value to therapeutics; despite the quality of data in all three programmes. Our risk adjusted analysis indicates a fair value of AUD 2.5 per share with upside of AUD 4.5 per share should the products achieve their full therapeutic potential.

The Russian army receives the missile that has the longest range. A source at the Russian military-industrial complex said that the S-400 Triumf SAM system would be armed with a 40N6 long-range anti-aircraft missile."The long-range missile 40N6 [40N6E is the export version] was put into service, all necessary documents were signed in September, after which the Ministry of Defence proceeded to purchasing these missiles," the source said.Within the scope of the state armament program before 2027, over 1,000 40N6 missiles are to be purchased for  S-400 regiments of the Aerospace Forces. The program stipulates for the establishment of 56 divisions of S-400. In July of this year, a source close to the Russian defence industry said that the state trials of the 40N6 missile were successful. The 40N6 is an anti-aircraft guided missile (SAM) of super-long range of over 400 km. The missile can intercept targets in near space for S-400/S-500 air defence systems. The 40N6 is designed to destroy air command posts, strategic bombers, hypersonic cruise and ballistic missiles with a maximum speed of more than 4800 m/s. The missile is capable of destroying targets beyond the visibility of ground radars.According to official information, the destruction range of the missile makes up nearly 380 km for aerodynamic purposes and up to 15 km for ballistic ones with an altitude from ten meters to 35 kilometres. The average flight speed is 1190 m/s. Owing to the new homing head, the missile can destroy aircraft outside radio visibility of ground-based radars. In addition, the 40N6 missile is capable of finding and striking targets on its own, after losing communication with ground systems.Previous anti-aircraft missiles of the S-400 complex (9M96, 48N6, 48N6DM) that were in service with the army of the Russian Federation, ensured the destruction of targets at a distance of up to 250 km.The US anti-aircraft missile system Patriot PAC-3 is capable of hitting targets at a maximum distance of up to 80-100 km. NASA scientists created 21 new constellations for the invisible night sky — including Albert Einstein, Godzilla, and Starship Enterprise

NASA scientists created 21 new constellations for the invisible night sky — including Albert Einstein, Godzilla, and Starship Enterprise· *When we look into space, we see only visible light, but there are many wavelengths we can't see. *
· *NASA's Fermi space telescope can see gamma rays, which are invisible to the human eye. *
· *Only the most energetic objects in the universe create gamma rays.*
· *In honor of the Fermi telescope's 10th year of operations, scientists on the mission came up with 21 new (unofficial) constellations that **honor Albert Einstein, the Hulk, Doctor Who, and more.*

In celebration of a long-lived space telescope that's mapped an invisible side of the universe, NASA just released a list of 21 modern and unofficial constellations.

Space might look like a dark void studded with just a few specks of light, yet this is something of an illusion.

What we see is only a rainbow of visible light: a limited slice of the electromagnetic spectrum, and of reality itself. Our human eyes can't detect "colors" of light that are less energetic than deep red, such as radio, microwave, and infrared. Nor can we see light more energetic than violet, such ultraviolet rays, X-rays, and gamma rays, the most energetic form of light in the universe.

But special telescopes can see these wavelengths and render them visible to us.

One such observatory is the Fermi gamma-ray space telescope. NASA launched the car-size satellite in 2008, and it has been mapping a normally invisible side of the universe (shown above) ever since then.

Fermi's view of the gamma-ray universe has revealed all sorts of objects to astronomers, including never-before seen views of solar flares, cosmic explosions, and other highly energetic and often violent processes in space.

So to celebrate Fermi's 10th year of operation, scientists on the team came up with 21 new — and kind of hilarious — gamma-ray constellations.

NASA described the constellations as unofficial, since there are only 88 recognized constellations, according to the International Astronomical Union. Nevertheless, imagining a giant Godzilla, Hulk, Albert Einstein, and even the Fermi telescope itself as a constellation in a normally invisible sky is a mind-expanding exercise.

"Developing these unofficial constellations was a fun way to highlight a decade of Fermi's accomplishments," Julie McEnery, the Fermi project scientist at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center, said in a press release. "One way or another, all of the gamma-ray constellations have a tie-in to Fermi science."

*See scientists' gamma-ray constellations*

The gamma-ray constellations suggested by scientists run the gamut from silly to storied.

In the northern sky, there's Schroedinger's Cat (in homage to a bizarre physics thought experiment), "The Little Prince" (from the famous French novel), a Saturn V rocket (teh one used by Apollo astronauts to reach the moon), the Starship Enterprise (from Star Trek), and the Roman Colosseum.

Also in the northern sky are the Incredible Hulk, the Eiffel Tower, the Fermi telescope, and a TARDIS (a space- and time-traveling police call box from "Doctor Who").

The southern night sky has its own weird new gamma-ray constellations.

Among them is a black widow spider, Mount Fuji, Mjolnir (the mythical hammer of the Norse god Thor), and a portrait of Einstein.

You can explore all of the new constellations at Fermi's interactive webpage. The feature also enables you to see where the constellations are located in the visible night sky, relative to official constellations like Ursa Major, Orion, and Gemini.

PortoVino launches Fall/Winter 2018 Lookbook featuring sought after Social Media Influencers. These Influencers will showcase the brand's designs in unique lifestyle and fashion images.

PHOENIX (PRWEB) October 18, 2018

The PortoVino purse, which notably stores and pours up to 2 bottles of wine from a secret insulated compartment, is still making strides in the fashion industry. Fresh on the heels of their almost two year anniversary, PortoVino has become a force to be reckoned with. Jam-packed with fashion accessories ranging from their classic vegan leather wine bags to their trendy messenger bags, there is something available for everyone’s personal style aesthetic.

Noted for always pushing the boundaries in their creativity and design, PortoVino has launched their Fall/Winter 2018 Lookbook featuring sought after Instagram social media influencers. Influencers have become the “kings and queens” of all things social media, and with PortoVino’s well over 200 million views on social media, these partnerships were a natural next step. There used to be a time when traditional media like print publications, television, radio, etc. rang superior, but in this age, it’s technology that truly reigns. A study by Columbia University found that 72% of Instagram users say they make purchasing decisions based on products seen in their feeds, and 80% of Gen Zers and 74% of millennials report that social media influences their shopping habits.

Enter PortoVino. PortoVino’s newest collection is appropriately called “The New Royals”, and focuses on this new world of influencers. They are indeed proven to be the new fashion models and celebrities, and have even become the new go-to for traditional media as well.

With PortoVino’s “fashion meets function” collection, there is truly something for everyone. The ability to use the handbag for wine or any beverage, including water for hot days, mixed drinks for festivals, or juice for busy moms on the go, gives this brand an unbeatable value. Whether you decide to utilize their function of taking your wine on the go, or using as your favorite fashion accessory for everyday use, you will always create a buzz. Their strong commitment to great quality and unique designs is notably helping PortoVino make their name known.

PortoVino is also socially conscious, and since 2011 has partnered with Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) organization. FMSC is a Christian based non-profit organization that coordinates the packaging and distribution of food to people in developing nations. Since 1987, it has reached out to more than 70 countries. For every PortoVino purse purchased, one meal is donated to Feed My Starving Children. Reported by PRWeb 3 hours ago.

Audi E-tron: brand's first full electric model to cost £70,805

UK pricing confirmed for Audi's first electric SUV which offers 249 miles of range, the same as the Mercedes EQC

The Audi E-tron, the brand's first electric SUV that will take on the Jaguar I-Pace and Mercedes EQC, will cost £70,805 when it goes on sale in the UK.

Audi’s first standalone electric model gets 249 miles of range on the WLTP test cycle – identical to the EQC but behind the I-Pace, which manages 292 miles.

The car will be eligible for the reduced £3500 UK government grant offered by the UK government for electric car buyers. Audi is now taking orders, with customers who pay a £1000 deposit securing 'priority access'. The rival EQC is tipped to cost from £67,500.

Powertrain director Siegfried Pint said the E-tron's homologation was ongoing and the range will be nearer 280 miles. A cheaper version with a smaller battery and, therefore, less range will follow in the next 12 months, Pint added.

The E-tron is the first production car in the world to offer 'virtual' side mirrors, which remove traditional door mirrors and instead use cameras with images appearing on screens in the door panels.

Sitting between the Q5 and Q7 in size, the E-tron features a handful of design elements that are intended to make it stand out from other Audi models.

It keeps the single-frame grille but uses a lighter colour for the grille louvres. “We didn’t want to lose the single frame; it contributed to making us the premium brand that we are today,” said exterior designer Stephan Fahr-Becker. “We selected a lighter colour. If a car is approaching from 50 or 100 metres, the single frame is recognisable as an Audi but different from, say, a Q8."

The E-tron also gets a name badge on the front of the vehicle, in a similar vein to what Audi does with its RS performance models. “We were bold enough to put the name on the front of the car; we want to say the E-tron is the first of its kind,” said Fahr-Becker.

There are also specific wheel designs for the E-tron (“The task was to create aerodynamic wheels which still look sporty,” said Fahr-Becker) and orange hints – for example, in the name badge and optional orange brake calipers. “We took the colour from high-voltage cables. We wanted to create a special colour to accentuate that its electric,” Fahr-Becker added.

Aerodynamics also played an important part in the design to help with the E-tron’s range, said Audi, achieving a drag coefficient of 0.28. There is an air inlet with ducts for cooling the front brakes, as well as adaptable, speed-dependent air suspension and a fully clad underbody. The E-tron also sits slightly lower than a traditional SUV; at 1616mm high, it’s 43mm lower than the Q5.

The four-wheel-drive E-tron uses two asynchronous motors, one at the front axle and one at the rear axle, producing up to 402bhp and 487lb ft. In normal mode, it produces 355bhp and 414lb ft and is capable of 0-60mph in 6.4secs. At full power, in boost mode, it achieves 0-60mph in 5.5secs. Top speed is 124mph. Energy to power the motors comes from a 95kWh battery – the largest on the market and only matched by Tesla’s top-of-the-range Model S 100D.

Single-stage transmissions transfer drive to the wheels, and the lion’s share goes to the rear axle at moderate speeds. At full load, it will be a 50/50 split.

The car uses an energy recuperation system which, on average, contributes 30% to the range, says Audi. There are two ways: coasting recuperation when the driver releases the accelerator, or braking recuperation when he or she depresses the brake pedal.

*E-tron charging*

Using 150kW public fast chargers, which are currently uncommon, the E-tron will be capable of charging up to 80% in 30 minutes. Audi is one of a number of car makers (including BMW, Daimler and Ford) that have invested in charging network Ionity. Audi says the network should have nearly 1200 150kW charging points running by the end of this year and 2400 by 2020.

Audi electrification product boss Anno Mertens said that while only 5 to 10% of charging happens on public chargers, it is very important because the “customer would not buy an electric car if it were not possible”. He said the target range (which has been achieved on the E-tron) is 20 to 30 minutes. “That’s today’s benchmark – at 50kW, it would be 80mins which is unacceptable. But customers would like to see 10 minutes which is why we’re constantly working on future generations with higher charging power.”

Audi will offer an E-tron charging service card which will allow access to the majority of charging points through one card, rather than having to have accounts with different providers.

For at-home charging, there is a standard 11kW charger which charges the E-tron in 8.5 hours. An optional 22kW charger halves this time.

*Interior of Audi E-tron*

The interior is in line with other Audi models with its Virtual Cockpit instrument display and two touchscreens – an upper 10.1in screen and a lower 8.8in screen – replacing most conventional controls.

The most notable difference is the optional addition of 7.0in displays in the front door panels near the dashboard for the camera-based side mirrors. The images from the cameras are shown on the screens and change views on the motorway, when indicating or parking. The driver can also control what he sees. The aerodynamic benefits of the virtual mirrors can create an extra 1.4 miles of range.

Audi claims the E-tron beats rivals for rear leg room and front and rear head room. It has 660 litres of boot space, 160 more than the EQC. There's another 60 litres of storage space in the car's nose. The front space is intended to give easy access to charging cables, because the charging port is near the A-pillar on the driver’s side of the car. Towing capability is 1800kg.

The E-tron introduces a number of new connectivity services to the Audi brand. For example, customers will be able to remotely add equipment to their E-tron after buying the car through the MyAudi app. You’ll be able to unlock certain equipment, for example, adding matrix beam, lane assist system or digital radio. You can buy it for a month, year or a lifetime, although it will cost slightly more for the customer than if you’d ordered it from the beginning. The service will eventually be rolled out to other models.

It also works with a household’s Amazon Alexa voice service. Through Alexa, you can instruct the E-tron to preheat or ask how much charge is left in the car. It also works in the other direction: the E-tron can use smart home functions, for example, switching the lights on or specific music before you arrive home. In time, the system will have the flexibility to work with a number of voice assistants including Google and Apple, said Audi.

The E-tron will be built at Audi’s CO2-neutral plant in Brussels ahead of UK deliveries starting early next year.

*Q&A with Stephan Fahr-Becker, Audi exterior designer*

*Why did you decide on this design for your first standalone model?*

"It was important to have an SUV. If you are sitting on a battery, the roof height creates problems. The Tesla Model S deals with this by making the car really wide. We were going to [design] something really mind-blowing and then customers said ‘can’t you just do a nice looking EV?’. People aren’t ready for major change. Instead, we decided on nice proportions."

*What was the biggest challenge?*

"To find the right roof line. We needed it to be sporty and aerodynamic but also to be a full SUV. We had to find the exact height where people still perceive it to be an SUV while ensuring it contributes to range."

*What details will we see on future E-Tron models?*

"Apart from the single frame grille, the front and rear lights will be a common theme. All the wheels will be more aerodynamic but look sporty. We also want to point out [in the design] where the battery is laying. That’s why there’s a wedge in the E-tron where the battery lays."
