Etherstack wins fifth order for Russian police radio networks

Etherstack (ASX: ESK) has won its fifth Russian police order in 24 months with receipt of orders for the expansion of the police radio network in the city of Rostov-on-Don.

The wireless technology company has supplied police radio networks in four Russian cities, a network that acts as a reference for other Russian opportunities that it is pursuing.

The original digital radio network in Rostov-on-Don was commissioned in April 2012 and the expansion order follows 12 months of successful operation.

Etherstack’s solutions are also in police radio networks in the U.S., Canada and American Samoa.

The company specialises in wireless communications technologies for customers in the public safety, defence, utilities and mining industries.
