Entrepreneur and philanthropist Heidi Anderson is excited to announce the launch of her new Blog Talk Radio Show, The Philantrepreneur. Anderson, President and CFO of Electronic Commerce International and Founder of the Credit Cares Division, will co-host the show with Dr. Victoria Boyd.
The purpose of the show is to examine and display ways that non-profits and for-profits can work together to create sustainable win-win-win relationships. This strategy goes even further than a standard win-win situation, Anderson said, as the third win goes to the people and causes both the non-profits and for-profits serve.
Co-host Victoria Boyd coined the term “Philantrepreneur,” and it is indicative of the guests that will be interviewed on the show.
“A philantrepreneur is a person with a business background – maybe a small business owner or a self-made entrepreneur – who not only shows exceptional entrepreneurial spirit, but exceptional heart and generosity as well,” Anderson said. “We can’t wait to get started with this exciting and powerful new venture.”
The first Philantrepreneur guest, John Carr, was also the first true Philantrepreneur. John and Donna Carr started The Charitable Giving Foundation in 1974. Together, they pioneered the first known transaction of “Cause Marketing” by engaging charities and businesses to support one another. John Carr will be featured on the September 18 episode of The Philantrepreneur.
The Philantrepreneur radio talk show will feature guests that are great resources for non-profits and for-profits.
