(We Are) Nexus' climb to the top continues to build as the Chicago based internet radio station Fusion Radio adds the Flatdisk remix of their single “It Feels So Good” to their already incredible lineup.
Part of (We Are) Nexus' “It Feels So Good” EP, Flatdisk's Electro remix is accompanied by (We Are) Nexus' original cover of Sonique's 1998 Trance hit of the same name as well as several other hard-hitting remixes of various genres, from Trance to House to Dubstep. "The EP is really translating to our fans," says Nick Gunn and Carmen Rainier, the duo that make up (We Are) Nexus. "Being added to Fusion Radio is a great step in our evolution and we are so grateful."
On June 10th 2003, Fusion Radio started out as Pure Pulse Radio with one simple intention: creating a permanent world-class Dance outlet in Chicago. Launching with an exclusive interview with dance sensation Amber in September of that year, Pure Pulse kicked off a trend that other internet radio stations were soon to follow. In 2004, Pure Pulse merged with Energy Internet Radio to form the current platform Fusion Radio, becoming one of the internet's largest commercial dance radio stations.
Since this time, Fusion Radio has been honored with awards such as the Pressie award for Best Internet Radio Station and is now broadcast to 1.5 million people in the Chicagoland area via Comcast. Other markets include San Francisco and California as well as participating in some of the US' biggest pride events including the Chicago Pride Parade, San Francisco Pride, and Atlanta Pride.
The undeniable match created between Fusion Radio and Flatdisk's remix of (We Are) Nexus' “It Feels So Good” ultimately creates the perfect storm. Having already cracked the iTunes Top 100 Dance chart in their first week and been lauded by fans everywhere, (We Are) Nexus have shown making people move is a natural. When combined with Fusion Radio's quality-conscious listeners, the world is sure to take notice!
Flatdisk's Electro remix of (We Are) Nexus' “It Feels So Good” is now available from the label Shotgunn Productions through all major online retailers including iTunes, Beatport, and Amazon and is accompanied by remixes from DJ Casey Alva, Tony Marinos, DJ Wayne G & LFB, Sinclair & Chatters the Tribe, and Neon Knights as well as the (We Are) Nexus' original mix.
