There is no Canada Remembers Air Show in Saskatoon this summer due to scheduling conflicts.
But organizers have put together Picnic in the Park with Heroes on Saturday, Aug. 9.
"We thought we'd try and do something for the veterans and the community that maintains some continuity in Saskatoon's annual salute to our heroes," volunteer director Brian Swidrovich said.
