An Oakland-based Internet radio company wants to get talking. Pandora Media has announced plans to expand its radio format beyond music and into talk, sports and news, according to a story in the Contra Costa Times. Pandora is looking to motorists to rev up its customer base amid competition from Storify, Apple and Google. The company's active users jumped 7.5 percent in the second quarter to 76 million people. Of those, 7 million listen while driving.
