Two Typhoon jets from Lincolnshire's RAF Coningsby were scrambled to intercept a private aircraft that had lost radio contact last night.Air traffic controllers lost contact with the Learjet above London at about 7pm last night and two Typhoons were deployed to accompany it to Stansted airport, Essex.An RAF spokesman said: 'We can confirm that Typhoon aircraft were launched from RAF Coningsby in their quick reaction alert role last night to investigate a civilian light aircraft...
