Damascus, July 7 (IANS) At least nine people were killed by radical rebels in Syria's southern province of Daraa, media reports said Sunday. The Nusra Front, an Al Qaeda subgroup operating in the war-torn country, killed nine people of the same family after kidnapping them in Daraa province, Xinhua quoted the pro-government Sham FM radio as saying without giving any further details. The Nusra Front currently controls several areas in Daraa, where the country's three-year-old conflict first erupted.
