Simply G Media Network today announced the release of a recent interview with New York Times bestselling author and TV host Jeffrey Hayzlett on The Simply G Radio Show with host Neil Haley, the Total Tutor.

Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) March 26, 2014

Neil Haley, The Total Tutor host of the Simply G Radio show, interviewed Jeffrey Hayzlett to find out about his book Running the Gauntlet. Hayzlett is an international leader in marketing, business and public relations.

Formerly the Chief Marketing Officer of the Eastman Kodak Company, Hayzlett is now the CEO of The Hayzlett Group. He joined Kodak in 2006 as Chief Marketing Officer and Vice President of the company's Graphic Communications Group. In 2010, Hayzlett published the book The Mirror Test: Is Your Business Really Breathing? Two years later, in 2012, Hayzlett released his second book, Running the Gauntlet: Essential Business Lessons to Lead, Drive Change, and Grow Profits. In 2013, Hayzlett was named contributing editor for Bloomberg Television and host of “C-Suite with Jeffrey Hayzlett.”

In this interview, Hayzlett explained that the reason people have trouble finding success is that most people are afraid to change and take risks. This is a key concept he discusses in his book.

One of the ways to grow your company is to create tension that drives healthy debate, says Hayzlett. He contends that the tension between sales and marketing creates driving change that helps grow your business.

Hayzlett also explained that he wants to work with people who want to grow a high-growth company, as he believes it takes a special breed of people who are driven to success in a high-growth model.

Vi 5 Star Ambassador & entrepreneur GJ Reynolds pointed out, "On the show Hayzlett suggested that there are two types of entrepreneurs—those that have a story and those who do what it takes and will become the story." According to Hayzlett, there are three distinct stages for entrepreneurs. He says you start as a one-man band. Then you develop followers. Last, you hire skilled technicians.

Hayzlett, who says that being authentic and real are key to becoming a successful entrepreneur, has three goals that he wants to achieve. He wants to build wealth for his family, he wants to have fun, and he wants to grow professionally.
