Jay Z and Kanye West to Perform Together at SXSW Jay Z and Kanye West, aka the Throne, are set to perform a "special, one night only" performance at SXSW, Mashable reports. It happens this Wednesday at Austin Music Hall as part of a Samsung-sponsored event.

As they did with last year's Prince show, wristbands will be handed out to owners of Samsung Galaxy devices. To get into the show, you have to download Milk Music. (The ad-free radio service, not records by the Olympia-based guitar heroes.) Wristbands will be available starting tomorrow at 10 a.m. at the Galaxy Experience pop-up location (2nd Street and Trinity).

Samsung is also hosting performances from Janelle Monáe, Broken Bells, Cut Copy, Holy Ghost!, and Gary Clark Jr.

Jay and Kanye last performed together during their epic 2011-2012 Watch the Throne tour. They previously joined each other on stage at SXSW back in 2011.  Reported by Pitchfork 4 hours ago.
