Muscatell Burns Ford dealership in Hawley, Minnesota, is running a promotion in which customers who buy a 2013 or 2014 pickup get a free shotgun.The Libertarian Republic says the dealership is telling customers, "If you find what you like, we'll throw a shotgun in on the deal."
According to CBS Minnesota, Muscatell Burns sales manager Jason Jalbert told a local radio station that "most of the dealership's employees hunt and fish, and it's usually a topic of conversation with customers."
The dealership has "a licensed gun dealer in Fargo, N.D." working with them on the pickup/shotgun promotion. Jalbert said "anyone who wants a shotgun with his or her truck must undergo the required background check."
