Neath teen shares songs with radio dedicated to armed forces This is South Wales -- A NEATH teen has been spreading Christmas joy to forces across the world.

Kirsten Orsborn from Tonna has been featured on a radio show which is dedicated to all military from the US and British forces stationed around the world.

The 17-year-old has previously released a charity song called A Tribute To Fallen Heroes which raises funds for the British Legion.

Her mum Karen said Kirsten wants to help the forces as much as possible. "Kirsten is honoured to be helping in any way she can to keep the spirits high at base camps and wherever our troops may be as music can be very uplifting," she said.

"Music is what Kirsten lives for and music is what makes her feel good, so if it can make our troops feel just as good then she will continue to do so for as long as she can."

When Kirsten has any new songs she sends them to Hoot Radio: ''Honoring Our Outstanding Troops'' and ADK-Radio.

Army veteran Andrew Keyes, who set up ADK-Radio, which is run on donations, said  Kirsten has the voice of an angel.

"She surely has the talent and a beautiful voice to go with it and ADK-Radio is proud and honoured to feature such a talent to showcase to 156 countries worldwide and still growing," he said.

"Kirsten works tirelessly to bring joy and hope to all our heroes both past and present and will continue to support our military anyway she can. We always get excited to receive new songs from Kirsten."

On Saturday Kirsten, now a full- time singer, performed with The Bachelors in Cambridge for the start of their 50th anniversary tour, which raised funds for charity. Reported by This is 4 days ago.
