Business RadioX®'s Results Matter Radio hosts a roundtable discussion with companies selected to participate in Inner City Capital Connections.
Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) December 12, 2013
On December 10, 2013, co-hosts Lee Kantor and Stone Payton of Results Matter Radio on Business RadioX® led a roundtable discussion with four of the companies selected to participate in this year's Inner City Capital Connections.
The Initiative for a Competitive Inner City (ICIC), Bank of America, and FORTUNE have selected 44 Atlanta-area companies for their annual Inner City Capital Connections (ICCC) program. This year the program received a record-setting 2,700 qualified company nominations from across the country and selected 415 companies for participation. ICCC identifies inner city businesses in need of growth capital, educates them on building capacity and accessing capital, and connects them with capital providers in order to grow their businesses and create jobs.
Kevin Mobley is the Chief Executive Officer of The Ian Thomas Group, LLC (ITG). ITG provides strategic and tactical software performance engineering and deployment services to organizations deploying complex software systems — solving the types of complex performance problems that have recently plagued Healthcare.gov. Explained Mobley, "Our services are being leveraged by Bank of America, Capital One and AT&T during the replacement and management of their enterprise software."
Next in the discussion was Deidre F. Brown Collins, the Founding Managing Member and CEO of Brown & Pipkins, LLC and its divisions – Acsential, Acsential Technologies, Acsential Services and Acsential Construction. She brings almost 20 years of experience in the management and technical industries. Collins manages numerous government and commercial clients providing building services, strategy management and information technology.
Also in the studio was Dr. Russell Brown, Program Director of Avenia Behavioral Management. He specializes in assessing and managing the cognitive impairments, movement disturbances, and behavioral problems that occur as a result of developmental issues, aging, trauma, and substance abuse.
Rounding out the discussion was Sanquinetta Dover, President and CEO of DoverStaffing, DoverSolutions, and Dover Training Institute. According to Dover, "I practice innovative techniques to deliver leading workforce solutions to the human capital management industry." Dover's professional achievements have been noted nationally, regionally, and locally, with accolades from DiversityBusiness.com, the Atlanta Business Chronicle and Enterprising Women Magazine.
